Kitchen Color Lab: Egg Dyeing for Kids

Hop into spring with a colorful, hands-on workshop just for kids (and their grownups)! Join in our downtown studio the Saturday before Easter for a joyful morning of egg dyeing using all-natural kitchen ingredients like red cabbage, turmeric, onion skins, and beets.
We’ll explore the art and science of natural dyes — watching colors shift with lemon juice and baking soda, learning how to make magic from veggie scraps, and creating stunning eggs using materials you probably already have at home.
This experience is equal parts art project, science experiment, and holiday tradition. Perfect for curious kids who love to create — and for parents who want something easy, meaningful, and memorable on Easter weekend.
🎨 What’s Included:
- Natural dye station with all materials provided (except eggs)
- Science-based instruction & hands-on guidance
- Take-home recipe sheet + tutorial to keep the fun going
- Sweet springtime vibes in a cozy, creative studio
🥚 What to Bring:
Please bring 1 dozen pre-boiled eggs per family — white shells work best for vibrant color!

This workshop is designed for kids old enough to enjoy egg dyeing and follow directions. Parents will stay and join the fun.
Pricing:
$40 per family (includes supplies for dyeing 1 dozen eggs)
$10 for each additional dozen (optional add-on)
